Your Old Droog and Tha God Fahim team up for another project and this one is pretty decent overall. On the mic, I think Droog edges out Fahim with the bars. He seems to have the harder approach to the mic and really gives us some well-constructed bars. That’s not to say that Fahim doesn’t do a decent job as well. His bars are pretty good as well, but just a step under Droog’s. The production on here ranges from average to above average. There are certainly some great boom bap beats that are sprinkled in here. Highlights include “Stretch,” ” Slam Dunk Contest” featuring Pharoahe Monch, and even the old school feel of “90 From The Line (remix).” The entire album has a dope concept applied to it as it plays through like a basketball game. That was definitely a dope concept to try out on an album. All in all, this was a really good job by Your Old Droog and Tha God Fahim.
