This was a quick soundtrack to the movie that only has 7 tracks. There are a lot of sound clips mixed in throughout that fleshes it out a bit, but also draws your attention away from the music. The tracks feature artists such as Too Short, E-40, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, October London, and more. It was pretty average overall. I don’t think you are going to get anything earth shattering on this soundtrack. The most notable song is “Step Child” which features the collective known as Mount Westmore, better known to most as Too Short, E-40, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dogg. That is a pretty dope track. While I understand the importance of the subject matter here, I think the music could have been a bit better for this movie.
