RJ Payne drops off a quick 5 track EP called The Payne Tape. This one is very short and right to the point. On the mic, he is a wizard. His bars are tremendous and very focused. There are really no negatives to his lyrical side. The beats on here are decent. I wouldn’t say these are the best beats ever, but they get the job done in a short time period. A highlight on here is the track “Think About It” which takes black on black crime into consideration. This was a good project but just too short. When RJ Payne drops, we want to hear a lot of music from him because he is so great.
