The title of this project pretty much says it all. Ransom is one of the best lyricists EVER. That’s right, I said EVER. This dude is so sorely underrated, it’s almost embarrassing to the rap game as a whole that this dude isn’t bigger than he is. He drops off this new project that is pretty damn good. Lyrically, this guy is unmatched. He is at the top of his game. I’d say a good 98% of rappers out there can’t mess with this dude and that number might even be higher than that. The production is pretty good as well. There are some places it lacks on this project, which has also been the case on past projects also. I feel like with the right production, this dude could be unstoppable. The standout track by far has to be “Shade.” He spits relentless bars over an old DJ Clue beat. The rhymes alone can almost carry this whole album but with some decent production, it is just a far superior project. I give a lot of props to this MC and hopefully he gains in popularity.
