Quentin Miller releases another weird new project. These seem to be really falling off for him lately. His flow is all but garbage on here. There are no rewind-able tracks to catch those fire bars. The beats are pretty substandard for the most part. The only track I will give credit to is “Spectacular” featuring Damar Jackson. This one has a great beat and sounds like it shouldn’t even be on this project. Other than that, there really isn’t anything salvageable on here. It’s a rough listen so I would probably only peep the “Spectacular” joint and keep moving on.

QUENTIN MILLER – NO (THANKS) EP

Quentin Miller drops off a very quick 5 track EP here. Although it is not great, it is better than his last project which shows growth. Lyrically, I think he stepped it up slightly. He still has a long way to go, but there was a small amount of growth here. The beats on here are slightly better as well. I think he was going for a vibe here and it might work. Honorable mention for a decent track with “Lookin Out” which features Peso. Although he has a long road ahead of him, I did see a slight improvement with this release.

QUENTIN MILLER – X.X.

C’mon man, seriously, stop being silly with this. If you want to hear what it sounds like to hear a man gargle for the length of a mixtape, then this is the album for you. Quentin’s bars are whack. They sound like a dumpster fire. It honestly sounds like he is just gargling on some kind of liquid (pause) for this entire project. We don’t wanna hear that at all. The beats on here are pretty much whack as hell too. No one is bumping this in their car at all. I can promise you that. This project was forgotten about the second after it dropped. The only track on here that I would even remotely give any credit for would be “Lost In It All.” This one has a bit of a melody to it, but still has all the same annoying qualities I just mentioned. Do yourself a favor and go watch grass grow instead of listening to this steaming pile of MC feces.

QUENTIN MILLER – Q.M.

If you are looking for a whack album, look no further. Quentin Miller definitely dropped off quite a turd with this one. The lyrics are so incoherent and broken, it’s truly a mess. This whole new style that rappers use today that sound like they have marbles in their mouth and autotune over top of it is ruining the game. This album is a prime example of it. It basically sounds like he is all but having a seizure on here. There might be a line or 2 that might be salvageable to hand over to Drake, but that is about it. The beats are trash as well. Most are just Casio keyboard quasi-trap beats that sound like garbage. What a legacy to leave behind with such trash work like this. I really wish more artists would try to perfect their craft instead of just letting anything fly out of the studio. Don’t waste your time with this.

QUENTIN MILLER – FALCO

This project was straight trash. I can definitely hear Drake when I listen to Quentin Miller spit. You can tell why Drake went after this dude as a ghost writer. When it comes to Quentin Miller’s solo projects, you can pretty much expect to get a lot less than you bargained for. The beats are simple and sound like they could be made on a 1980’s casio wrist watch. The rhymes are boring and repetitive. There is almost no redeeming value on this project at all. I would throw this straight down your toilet where it belongs.

QUENTIN MILLER – ESSENTIALS VOL. 1

Never was a fan of a ghostwriter before but decided to give this project a listen. I was thinking it was going to be God awful but I was actually surprised that it was a little bit better than I thought it would be. As far as lyrically, I don’t think it’s the technical ability of Quentin Miller because he certainly doesn’t have that. I think it is more of his ability to create a sound or a flow. I definitely will throw the auto-tuned voice right out the window because that can get super annoying. The beats that are on this project aren’t the best. There are a few that are decent. All in all, this is more of a new age project; probably something for the younger generation that likes that new flow. I’d say this one might be worth skimming through to see if it is something that catches your ear. Definitely not something that is going to be in heavy rotation at all.
