MYALANSKY – M.E.D.U.S.A.

Myalansky from the Wu-Syndicate drops a new solo album that may not fit into the mainstream as well as casual rap fans would like, but it still has some notable moments to share. On the mic, you pretty much get what you would expect from the Wu-Syndicate member. His voice is that powerful and quiet force that drives his lyrics home. The beats on here are a bit darker and more mysterious and wouldn’t get played on radio. There are a few songs in which he gives us a history lesson. He dives into Greek mythology with descriptive rhymes and even skits about Medusa. These songs, namely “Medusa” and “Gorgan” are pretty dope and stand out amongst the rest. All in all, it’s not your standard rap album, but Myalansky showcases his talent here.

WU-SYNDICATE – EXTENDED PLAY

This is a quick collection of 6 unreleased songs from the Wu-Syndicate. It actually showcases their talents pretty well throughout. The bars are decent. I wouldn’t say they are anything to write home about, but they hold their own on the mic. It’s definitely more of a sound or a vibe than anything else. You definitely get that whole street mafioso vibe to their bars. The beats on here are a mixed bag. You get some radio joints and some street joints so it’s a good balance of sounds. All in all, this is a good showcase of some of their work.

MYALANSKY – LANSKY

Myalansky of the Wu Syndicate drops a new solo album and it feels like he is going at everybody on here. The rhymes are pretty standard as you go from song to song. It’s about what you would expect. The beats on here are pretty decent. He’s compiled a decent collection of beats to rhyme over. There’s a lot of anger as he goes at Noreaga, The Clipse, and others on here. On “Fatality” he goes after Noreaga and seemingly everyone involved with the podcast Drink Champs. On the song “The Incentive,” he goes at The Clipse and their manager for being fake drug lords. There’s a lot of accusations and anger on these tracks and who knows what is true. It’s not a bad album, it’s just that there is a lot of angst on here and it could possibly be for no good reason. But that is for the artists to decide.

MYALANSKY – D3: ST. VALENTINE’S DAY MASSACRE

Half of the Wu Syndicate Myalansky comes through with a new project that is very reminiscent of how an album should actually sound. He definitely has a classic feel to it and it plays through pretty well overall. His bars are decently crafterd throughout and he has a pretty solid flow. There aren’t a whole lot of features as you will only hear from Joe Mafia, Chief The God, Jern and a few others. The production on here is pretty slamming. They are some hard beats that sometimes incorporate some familiar old samples that gives the project that classic kind of feel. All in all, this was a good effort from Myalansky. If he keeps putting stuff out like this, he is definitely on the right track.
