Mach Hommy and Tha God Fahim team up for a joint album. To be real, this album is straight up weird. Hommy is super weird with the bars. Fahim has a better flow, but he is usually pretty decent on projects. They have 2 features on here from Left Lane Didon and Big Cheeko. The production is definitely way out left on this one. The beats are very unusual and the average rap fan isn’t going to latch onto these. For the masses, I would definitely pass on this album.

MACH HOMMY – DUCK CZN: TIGER STYLE

Mach Hommy drops off a new album that features Tha God Fahim pretty heavily. He is on every single song on the project so it might as well just have been a joint album. On the mic, Hommy is basically the same as he always is. There is a lot of gibberish rhymes but his voice is decent and his flow is good at times. Fahim represents more on this album with his rhymes and his flow. Hommy has other features from Your Old Droog and JuJu Gotti which are pretty decent. The beats on this album are pretty standard across the board. There really wasn’t anything that was mind blowing as far as the production goes. It definitely wasn’t whack with the beats though. All in all, this was a pretty standard album and you pretty much get what you expect with this one.

Mach Hommy & Tha God Fahim combine forces again to give us another new project. This one is pretty on par for their work together. You get what you expect with this one. I wouldn’t say that any of the bars are too rewind-worthy, but they hold their own. There are features from Your Old Droog, JuJu Gotti, and Big Cheeko. The beats on here are pretty average as well. There really aren’t any bangers on here, but at the same time, they don’t suck either. With 9 tracks, there was definitely room to try some things out. This one sorta fell right in the middle for their work.

That is probably the highlight of this small project. I’m not quite sure if he has a direction he is going in with these EPs, but hey, we’ll check em out and report accordingly.

Some will love it and some will hate it.

Mach Hommy drops off a super quick new project. With 8 songs and a bunch of skits littered throughout, I think it is safe to say that this is your standard Mach Hommy project. On the mic, you get what you expect from him: rhymes that really are scattered all over the place and a decent flow with some good energy. The beats on here are pretty standard. They are definitely more suited for an MC like Mach Hommy as opposed to your major label artists. This album may not be fantastic, but it’s pretty on par with Mach Hommy’s work thus far. Fans will probably appreciate.

Mach Hommy drops off a new album and this one isn’t too good. On the mic, his flow sounds the same as usual. It sounds like it would be strong, but there is a lot of gibberish. He gets features from Tha God Fahim, JuJu Gotti, Kungg Fuu, and more. The beats are average. There really isn’t anything that is going to stand out too much, but they aren’t terrible either. The highlight of this album is “Hut One” with its slamming drums and the MCs actually ride the beat pretty well. Other than that, you can pretty much toss this one.

MACH HOMMY – PRAY FOR HAITI

Mach Hommy drops off a highly anticipated new album called Pray For Haiti. His bars are pretty much what you would expect from him. They are pretty out there and not your standard rhymes that you would hear. He definitely has an unorthodox style that most people may not be able to relate to. Westside Gunn curated this project so it definitely has more of a Griselda type feel to it as you listen through. The beats on here are definitely the stronger part of the album. The highlight is the beat of “Makrel Jackson.” That is definitely a skilled piece of work right there that makes any MC sound great over it. While this may not be an album for everyone, true Mach Hommy fans will probably call it the greatest album of all time. In reality, it’s one of his better projects, but in the grand scheme of albums, probably not something that will stay on repeat.

MACH HOMMY – MACH’S HARD LEMONADE

Mach Hommy drops off a new album and surprisingly, this one was a little bit better than a lot of its predecessors. His flow seems to have improved a bit and some of the bars were a bit improved as well. Maybe he just sounded a bit hungrier on this one, but something seems to have gotten in him to give off this energy. The production selected on this project was good as well. I think these beats seemed to have stepped up a bit from prior releases. On tracks like “SBTM (Sweeney Been Told Me)” and “Squeaky Hinge,” he really seemed to find his stride. There were other songs like “Count Dracula (remix)” that I could have done without. All in all, not really too bad of an effort here from the Dump Gawd.

MACH HOMMY & DJ MUGGS – KILL EM ALL

It might be DJ Muggs that brings out the best in Mach Hommy. I haven’t really been feeling a lot of Hommy’s projects, but this one isn’t too bad. I think he stepped up his lyrical game a bit on here. He still has a while to go, but you can hear there is progress being made. The beats on this project are all but top notch. Muggs does a fantastic job of creating eerie piano loops mixing them in with some slamming drums. This seems to complement Mach Hommy’s style. This record was a lot better than more recent efforts. Notable tracks include “Daniel Fast,” “Mount Tambora,” and “Titanium White” all featuring Tha God Fahim. These are the most slamming tracks on this album. This is not a bad listen from beginning to end and it’s good to see Mach Hommy progressing.

Mach Hommy teams up with Tha God Fahim to put out another project for some reason. Lyrically, you’re not going to get too much on this one. Mach Hommy is God awful on here. He just sounds the whackest he ever has on here. Fahim does a better job on here as he actually has better bars. The beats started out okay but quickly fell off early into the album. This one really was just a dumpster fire. Should have hit the delete button on the hard drive when it was mastered.

This is another project from Mach Hommy that wasn’t too good. It’s quick at only 7 tracks so that is some good news. His rhymes aren’t very strong, but his flow is okay on here. The features he has from Tha God Fahim and Your Old Droog far outshine his own rhymes so it was good to see some decent features on here. The beats this time around were pretty decent. At times, they were a bit slower, but all in all, not a bad job on the production side of things. True fans of his might be feeling this project, but definitely not us here. This is going to be a pass on this one.

DJ MUGGS & MACH HOMMY – TUEZ-LES TOUS

Mach Hommy teams up with DJ Muggs for this go round and it definitely came off better than previous releases. Muggs’ production has really heated up in the last year and he is popping up on projects left and right. He really is going through a Renaissance and it is showing in his music. I think he helped Mach Hommy improve his lyrical skills a bit on this one. You can’t just have anyone hop on a Muggs beat and expect to be good. So that is why I was so leery when I saw they were working together. Mach Hommy’s rhymes still have a long way to go, but I feel like his tone of voice and his flow on here are noticeably better. Even though at times, he is still spitting gibberish, at least it is sounding better over top of these beats. I definitely have to give credit where it is due, and with this project, both MC and producer really stretched their inner limits and became better. Not a bad listen here with this one.

MACH HOMMY – FETE DES MORTS AKA DIA DE LAS MUERTOS

This is basically another turd dropped off from Mach Hommy. One positive thing I can say about this though, is that it was a little bit better than what I was expecting. It was still pretty whack overall, but you can see Mach Hommy moving in the right direction. Lyrically, it is still way to crazy. He often times doesn’t make sense at all. You could hear the hunger and the effort in his voice on this go round. The beats were the better part of this project. He always seems to find some pretty grimy beats to rap over. I’d prob give this one a pass unless you have nothing better to do. Maybe we will see Mach Hommy start to improve?

Another bad release from Mach Hommy. Really, the only good thing I can say about this release was that the beats were pretty decent. There was a lot of really hard, neck snapping beats on here. As far as the rhymes go, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Dude is whack with lyrics. I’m definitely not feeling his style at all. Put the mic down and give it a rest already. If you are going to peep this project, really just listen to the beats and that is all you need.

This EP was terrible. Another bad release from Mach Hommy. This dude just can’t seem to do it correctly. The rhymes are weird. Too weird to even be considered good. I know some MCs will put random words together in a clever method but it just simply doesn’t work here by Mach. The beats are too strange as well. Some of the songs just sound like ramblings over incomplete beats. This is one to straight up throw in the trash. Don’t even give this a listen at all. Move along, nothing to see here.

MACH HOMMY – HBO (HAITIAN BODY ODOR)

The Griselda records affiliate Mach Hommy drops off an album here for us which should have been A LOT better. The beats on this album are fantastic. It is truly great and interesting production which is really all that the album has to offer. The rhymes are awful. His flow is garbage and his content is unintelligible. I expected so much more from a Griselda affiliate. This is pretty much the polar opposite of Westside Gunn and Conway. This project would have been better off as an instrumental album. I don’t really see too much of a future for Mach Hommy. I’d say cut the losses now and as a label, move on without him. Feel free to give this album a listen, especially since you don’t have to bother listening to any of the words at all.
