The Game drops a new album that is insanely long at 31 tracks. I am a big fan of The Game, but this album didn’t really live up to his standard. With albums under his belt like The Documentary and The RED Album, he really shouldn’t be putting out mediocre work. It is chock full of features and name drops as usual. You get features from Kanye West, Pusha T, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Twista, Jeremih, Ty Dolla Sign, and countless others. On the mic, Game is decent. I really wanted him to drop more jewels, but he seems to be missing those moments on here. There are a few here or there, but most messages probably get lost in the sheer size of this project. The production is pretty average as well. There are a few moments that are decent when he flips some old tracks and tries to make them new again. Even that can get exhausting at times. All in all, Game needed some more work on this project. I’d like to see a more focused project next time. Give us some moments and make those moments count.

OVERALL RATING: 3 out of 5 Cheesesteaks
