Jon Connor drops the follow-up to his SOS album. This one was a smidge better than its predecessor. As far as the rhymes go, Jon Connor is pretty damn good. He is able to rap at a high level on most of the tracks he is on. This album might have started out slower, but it picks up steam a few tracks in. By the end of the album, he really has more than a few songs with some great concepts. The production on here is average. I didn’t really hear anything mind-blowing or rewind-worthy. Some notable tracks include “The Search” which is about trying to find one’s purpose in life. “Success” is another great song about the varying degrees of what that word actually means. This one in particular is perfect for today’s generations. All in all, Jon Connor has it in him to become one of the greats. I just think he has to find that right album to make it happen. Keep on going Jon, keep on going.
