Rick Ross drops a brand new record that didn’t have as much noise around it as they usually do. He didn’t really have a standout single that was blazing the airwaves or anything like that. It was kind of strange since he has the machine behind him. Maybe he knew what it was already, because this album was pretty average overall. Usually he is coming with a bit more heat, but he didn’t seem to bring it as hard as he could with both the rhymes and the beats. You’ll get some decent features from Benny, Wale, Future, The Dream, Wiz Khalifa, and more. There really isn’t anything whack on here, it’s just that it isn’t quite to the level that we are used to from him. He didn’t give us any of those memorable hip-hop “moments.” I hope that we get something more memorable next time around from the biggest bawse.
