JoJo Pellegrino drops a super dope new project in which he goes on a lyrical assault. I guess it has been a while since I had heard from him and I forgot how much of a lyricist he is. He goes in to the extreme on just about every track on here. “Spiked Bat” is a lyrical assault right from the jump where he sets the tone for the project. He’s got fantastic features from the likes of RJ Payne, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Conway, Nems, and more. The beats on here are pretty slamming all the way throughout as well. There really isn’t anything on here that is a skip or is whack. While it might not be quite to the classic level, he really isn’t too far off. Fantastic job JoJo Pellegrino.
