Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled team up again to give us the B Side to No Ceilings 3. This one wasn’t quite as good as the A Side, but ok at best. It’s not really one that you will keep on repeat, but it’s good to see Weezy keeping busy again. His bars are pretty decent overall. He definitely goes for that sped-up flow trying to cram as many rhymes into his lines as possible. He definitely has some clever punchlines, but sometimes they can get lost in the mix or skimmed over too quickly. The beats on here are pretty average for the most part. The highlight was “Pop Off” where he sound more like classic Weezy over a banger of a beat. We want more of those. All in all, not a terrible job, but definitely some room for improvement.
