2 Chainz drops a brand new album that is pretty average overall. On the mic, 2 Chainz isn’t the best lyricist, but he keeps it entertaining. One theme I noticed throughout this project is that it seems that 2 Chainz helps a lot of people out financially and it is beginning to wear on him a bit. I wouldn’t call this a whack album at all, it’s just more middle-of-the-road. A lot of it is filler, but some of the songs really stand out. “Money Maker” with Lil Wayne flips the classic Guy sample of “Piece Of My Love” into a great southern college anthem. On “Can’t Go For That,” he flips the classic Hall & Oates track “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)” and features Ty Dolla Sign and Lil Duval. The beats on here are pretty average across the board. This is a pretty standard album release. 2 Chainz fans will definitely appreciate.

OVERALL RATING: 2.5 out of 5 Cheesesteaks
