Jay Bezel releases a brand new mixtape and this one definitely sounds more like a demo than a mixtape. He has always been a dope lyricist and that is still evidenced on this new release. It just doesn’t have that same classic Diplomat sound that his previous releases have had. He definitely took a step backwards with the production side. It really is a shame because Jay Bezel is a beast on the mic. He needs the right beats to bring it out of him. The ones on this project simply didn’t cut it like they should. This one definitely plays through more like an unmixed street demo rather than what we all envision it should sound like. We’re definitely hoping for a better outcome on his next one.
