Lecrae drops a brand new album and this one documents his trials, tribulations, and redemption over the last few years. Lecrae has a very good knack for making dope songs, but also keeping his message very positive and very spiritual. He doesn’t come off as preachy, but rather shares his stories and his experiences in the hopes that others may follow his journey. His bars are pretty decent throughout this new project. The production is pretty good as well as this project plays through. One of the highlights is the catchy “Zombie.” It has a great hook and a great message to it if you listen carefully. For the people that are worried that this may be too positive for them, this track really fits in well with a lot of other songs out today. Lecrae does another great job here with this release.
