Chris Rivers drops off a dud of a mixtape. This isn’t the Chris Rivers from old where he would be spitting ferocious bars with the East Coast legends and having Whispers do a fire hook. This is a watered down, sensitive, and introspective Chris Rivers. He talks about his own personal problems at great length and it gets old fast. The beats on here are pretty mediocre as well. It’s almost as if there isn’t a fire inside of him anymore. There’s no “umph” behind anything anymore. I hope it doesn’t continue like this forever. I want that old Chris Rivers back. The one that was an incredible spitter. This new album is trash.
