This is a quick brand new EP from the Lost Boyz, namely Mr. Cheeks and a few newcomers including Freaky Kah (Freaky Tah’s son). The EP starts out super strong with 2 fantastic songs “Money” and “My Brother.” These songs have great beats and Mr. Cheeks sounds great rapping over top of them. After this, the EP falls pretty flat. I think they were trying to cater to a younger crowd and it just didn’t work the way they wanted it to. Instead of staying true to the classic LB sound, they tried to make it sound more modern and it just didn’t work. The first 2 tracks are good enough to lift the entire project up a bit though. It’s definitely worth at least a listen to in it’s entirety.
