Lil Flip returns with what is to be his final studio album, The Leperchaun 2. First off, this double album is massive. There are 32 tracks on here and that is way to many to get through. It’s an onslaught on the ears. As far as the lyrics go, Lil Flip is pretty decent on the mic. He definitely does a satisfactory job and you get what you expect from him on the mic. The beats are pretty standard as well. There are definitely some Houston, TX style beats sprinkled throughout which makes Lil Flip sound more authentic and true to his form. All in all, it’s a pretty decent album. I don’t think he is necessarily going out with all the grandeur that one would expect from a “last album,” but it’s still pretty decent overall. Also, why do I get the feeling, this is not the last album we will see from Lil Flip??
