Legendary producer Large Professor teams up with J-Love to release a very straightforward, no frills, but dope project. The rhymes on here are right to the point. There’s nothing that is going to be mind-bending, super complex bars, but rather they have a stripped down and fun, yet purposeful vibe. The beats on here are of course going to be old school, boom bap for classic hip hop heads to bounce to. The highlight of this project, even though it is a rough cut demo version, is “Midnight Session.” It has an absolutely slamming beat that will guarantee to give your neck problems after bobbing to it. This is a very good project that true hip hop heads will relish.
