Slim Thug delivers a powerful new record right around the time that he had revealed that he had contracted Covid-19. First of all, prayers up to that brother for a speedy recovery from that. This new album is very dope. He has strong lyrics throughout it. With his powerful and commanding voice, he continues to show us how he reps Texas to the fullest. The beats on here are very interesting. There are a lot of old soul and R&B samples over some hard drums. This one goes pretty hard and the beats are highly produced to showcase Slim Thug at his best. The highlight of this album is the song “Thug Life (Life Is Crazy)” with it’s great sung soul sample and it’s riding feel to it. Slim Thug shines brightly for all to see. He did a great job with this album, and we hope to see more of the same come from him.
