Bun B blesses fans with a 5 track EP of new music to commemorate the arrival of his own day in Houston, “Bun B Day.” Every August 30th will henceforth be known as Bun B Day. This super short, yet dope project shows how great Bun B really is. He gives us simple but strong rhymes that seem to pierce through the soul every time. It’s really amazing how he can craft rhymes usually with only one syllable rhyming, yet have the rhymes hit home so well. The beats on here are pretty dope overall. I was especially feeling the first two tracks “It Ain’t Easy Being Trill” and “I Am.” Although it is very short, Bun proves he will forever be one of the great ones.
