Crimeapple teams up with DJ Skizz to release a pretty dope EP here. Even though it’s not a full length album, it almost feels like one especially under today’s standards. Crimeapple is definitely an MC on the rise. Every release that he has put out seems to at least stay consistently good. On the mic, Crimeapple just spits so fresh and different from everyone else out there. He mixes his highly talented rhyme schemes with drug scenes and Spanglish talk to create very vivid pictures. The beats on here are pretty dope as well. It is chock full of hard drums and clever samples. The highlights include “Divine” which is a story of what it’s like dealing with his girl’s choice to have an abortion. This is a very deep song with a really soulful sample. “FFFeel Good” is a really dope song as well in which Crimeapple rhymes a ton of words starting with the letter F. This would be reminiscent of when Papoose did “Alphabetical Slaughter.” This track really just shows you how great he is at rhyming. This is definitely one to check out and spread the word about this MC’s talent.
