Bam Bam or Action Bronson is back with his long-awaited mixtape in his Blue Chips series. He skips right from 2 to 7000, but we ain’t mad at that. Overall this is a decent project. Lyrically Bronson is on point. He spits his unique and signature bars that we have all been craving. The production on here was ok. It probably could have been a bit better. I was waiting to hear just some slamming boom-bap beat but never really got that. That is not to say that the production is lacking though, because there are good tracks on here. I just think it was left a little flatter than some of the beats on previous Blue Chip mixtapes. I don’t think that there is really a standout track on here because all of the tracks are pretty consistent, which is a good thing. At the end of the day, the best part about it is that we get to hear Action Bronson doing his thing again. Hopefully we don’t have to wait as long next time.
