This was a surprising album that I gave a chance on. I wasn’t familiar with either of these artists but I’m glad I took a chance on them. This was a solid album the whole way through. The mood they were going for was the 1980s, Miami Beach, Scarface, drug running type scene. The rhymes are good on here. There is nothing earth-shattering from anyone, including featured artists, but at the same time, there’s nothing negative to say at all. Everyone does a good job lyrically. The beats are pretty slamming. I wasn’t really mad at any songs on here. Another good thing about this project is that all the songs seem to fit together nicely. They definitely all sound like they should be part of this project. All in all, this was a solid release and deserves your attention.
