D-12’s Kuniva drops off a mixtape and it leaves much to be desired. From hearing him on previous D-12 albums and features, I was hoping for a lot more. I was ready to almost sacrifice the production content not being too good if the lyrics would take the place but I was sadly let down on both sides. He just doesn’t seem to bring much at all lyrically. He does sort of tell a story throughout this offering and the themes are somewhat consistent, but the lyrically complexity is just not there. I do give him points for being so honest though. That part I did feel throughout the project. The beats are average at best with nothing to really take away and remember. Unless you are a huge D-12 fan or a huge Detroit rap fan, I would pass on this one.
