GAME – 1992

While this is a strong West Coast release, it didn’t live up to the expectations of the album. There was talk that this would be a classic album, but I just don’t think it lived up to those expectations. With that being said, this is still a strong release from the veteran West Coast MC. He gives us another picture that is very well painted of West Coast gang life. There are some classic beats that are flipped for Game to rhyme over like “True Colors,” “Bompton,” and “Fuck Orange Juice.” I’d have to say that the standout track is “Baby You” featuring Jason Derulo. The beats are classic West Coast sound. The rhymes are strong and tough rhymes that we are used to from the Game. He definitely flexes his muscles on “92 Bars” which is his Meek Mill diss record. This is one of his better releases in awhile so if you are a fan of classic West Coast gangster rap, please pick this one up.

OVERALL RATING: 4 out of 5 Cheesesteaks
