Conway offers up a heaping helping of clever street raps with this massive project. Some of the tracks are original beats while others are just freestyles or songs over existing beats but Conway seems to deliver either way. The gritty street rhymes are not of the highest caliber but they are definitely strong and consistent. He does shine on the track “The Mobb” which is a freestyle rap over Mobb Deep’s “Eye For An Eye” beat. If nothing else, this project is definitely consistent. Conway handles most of the rhymes on this project which is a massive endeavor. He does employ Westside Gunn to spit on a few tracks here and there which is definitely a good addition. These 2 are definitely a breath of fresh air in this whole “new flow” and “trap rap” era. One of the only real criticisms I have is the sheer size of this project. It takes awhile to sit down and listen to it front to back. There are definitely some good moments on it though so it is worth it but next time, let’s try to get a more concentrated effort.
